Using copy of sindh new number plates

Kia main apni sindh registered gaari per new number plate (ajrak wali) ki exact copy banwa ker laga sakta hoon? Police masla to nhi karegi? Aaj kal sab hi copy lag kar use kar rahay isliye mera bhi mood tha.

Police is very much aware of series which have new plate design. Don't take any chance just because something IS giving butterflies in stomach.

you can. if you have a number plate not issued letter from excise.

also you can get punched number plates from market as well. they are almost identical to the actual plates.

this is for new vehicles..

agreed i m using same.. plus in karachi theft of no plates is v.common you know if you got duplicate no plate it will decrease your car value!

They had a 15 day drive going on, they were stopping cars with tinted windows and "fancy" number plates. I have kept cars with no front number plates and kachi plates, never faced a problem. During the 15 day drive, was stopped twice in one day. So yes, good days and bad days.

Don't do it, especially when you are at the Shahra-e-Faisal. I saw one Land Cruiser with GP duplicate number, and the other was lol (SP but duplicate one) stopped near Avari tower a couple of weeks back. Imagine, the government vehicles were duplicate plates were stopped, you cannot be any exception. So, it a BIG NO

They aren't punched actually, they are embossed stickers.

I got them in 2006 Corolla. Police wala checked the plates from behind. As he was confused too if they were orignals.

Fortunately I had originals in the car he let me go.

For Jeeps BK series is actual ajrak wali for car for now only BW* series came with ajrak.

So everyone knows.

And it's pretty easy to tell copies and orignals apart.

I have seen 1 car with BU* series. Not sure if that was issued on request or how.

How ever I have heard paying rs. 6000 you can get a number plate issued (only for those whose plates aren't issued yet).
