Uzbeks are a much cleaner nation than us. Much Much cleaner. The last Pics are from the main Bazar that is why you see some littering. Otherwise in most of the pics you can see the cleanliness.

I was staying in Radisson where the room if I remember correctly was around 200USD last year. The prices will be more now I guess. For 3 Star or 4 Stars I dont have much idea. What I know is that a lot of tourists visit Uzbekistan that is why they have reasonable options in every range. Return Air Ticket from Lahore should be somewhere around 35 - 40 PKR. Travel agent is the best place to check.

The biggest problem in these countries is the language barrier as officially Russian is used.

In the whole CIS, the trend of ''paid guests'' is very common. You can find ladies and gentlemen standing at the airports and railway stations offering these inkeeping services for prices almost 3 times cheaper than the cheapest hotel costs.

Plus there's the option of staying at a hostel, or in a sanitarium..they offer bed n breakfast pretty inexpensive.

But yeah, you need to know Russian language, or atleast know someone who knows Russian language.

Russian Circus is quite famous so I visited the Circus in Tashkent. Was quite dissappointed...

The mosque in Tashkent where I went on Friday's. Interestingly the no of mosques is very less in the capital city and you cannot hear Azan everywhere. Not like in Pakistan.

Due to less no of mosques its difficult to find place.
