Got my toyota fortuner a few days back now i am thinking to register it from KPK (where i belong from) because of their new policy costing only 1%. Islamabad on the other hand will cost around 4-5 lacs. What do you guys suggest?

I am thinking the same. All my cars are isl registered but thinking to do this one kpk. Also, the number plate will only have KPK mentioned. Peshawar mardan swat, that is gone for good.

I mentioned 1%, not 1 rupee. For 2500 below its 1 rupee but for above its 1%, which would roughly be over 1 lac with taxes. Whereas in islamabad it would cost me 4-5 lac. Still a huge difference
For that much difference it's better to register in KPK. Glad they have also done away with location as in Punjab. Wise decision by the authorities.
