I need guidance on a topic that some of you might have faced during vehicle transfer.
I purchased a car that was on open transfer letter. It was registered in the name of 2nd owner. I don't know how many owners changed un between the 2nd and mine. Now when i tried to get the car registered in my name, i called the 2nd owner to get the biometrics for me. He said that the person to whom I sold the car has to pay me Rs 40,000. So pay that amount to me and I'll do the biometrics, otherwise not.. Now i dont know that who was the man who purchased the car from this 2nd owner.
If anybody knows what to do in that case, please help me out... Its my fault that I delayed the registration for quite a long time and now the person from which i purchased the vehicle is also not accenting any responsibility..
Please advise me what to in this case... ill be very grateful..
