Aoa guys,
A couple of days back I was coming back from my office to my home and was stopped by police (kalay walay)...they accused me of carrying duplicate number plate which I had no knowledge of as the previous owner also didn't mention it while selling the car.

Well the police Wala said that aap ki car band hogi and bla bla for which was then later negotiated to kharcha Pani.

Anyways I just wanted to ask if you guys know of any source from which I can verify my number plate status? So the next time I get stopped due to this I have a little bit of proof at my end too..

an officially issued duplicate number plate have word duplicate embossed on top right corner.

an original number plate have logo SINDH Logo EMBOSSED you can feel it by rubbing palm on it. The sticker is boot legged plate

I can't feel embossed Sindh logo when I touched it, the logo is like a sticker but i have seen some other cars in my area's parking which are of same make and same year with 1/2 year difference but I found the same type of number plates which is of my car.

Someone suggested to me get it checked with any showroom as they are a big keera of cars

if there is no LOGO EMBOSSED , go directly to excise office and check status for issuance of number plate of your series. The agent will help you update. Play it smartly

Bro i have karachi registred toyota corolla..previous owner is from punjab and address on id card is if punjab..but owner address on registration book is of karachi..previous owner said that its necessary to write karachi address on book.its ok...please tell me is it ok???
