Recently Piaggio in partnership with Ravi launched the Vespa Primavera 150cc Scooter in Pakistan.
At launch the price was scored down at 3.0 lac which was risen to 3.3 lac after March 18, 2018. This is a special low if you compare it with the international price (+$3500) of this Italian variant.

Overall the new Vespa is a trendy machine, which will serve as a collector's item as opposed to 'Gali walay Motay Uncle ka Scooter' image that Vespa had developed in the Pakistani market.
While trend for scooters after the exit of Vespa in the 90z has practically died out, getting it back on trend will take some degree of heavy marketing efforts which Ravi has so far not undertaken.
Among the important concerns that enthusiasts have is that the Vespa Spares and Service Centres in new cities has yet to pick up pace. At the moment Vespa is just limited to Lahore and Karachi, with Capital Motors only selling it in G-10/4, Islamabad. With no service Centre in sight, it is yet to be seen what the local market will do to the heavily priced new Vespa primavera in the presence of other brands like Benelli, Keeway, KTM, Duke, Fuchen, Honda, SUZUKI and Yamaha.

Furthermore OEM accessories also have to be made available for the trendy machine to kick off, along with an information rich website and most certainly financing options also need to be introduced to bring the Vespa back to life in the young office going segment.
The plus on the Vespa is it's practicality and housing spaces (glove box and under seat helmet house). The available colors along with the chrome work also help to give it a premium look. I can safely say that among all market options available, the Primavera is undoubtedly the Civic of the working motorcycle class.
