I have Suzuki Alto car purchased back in 2011. I purchased it brand new and the car is driven only 6400 km. It is mostly driven within city at lower speed. Today I had a chance to drive it on highway and I observed that the car vibrates at speed above 80 to 90 km/hr. Is it due to unbalanced wheels OR alignment issue OR something else. Please suggest what to do?
its the tires most of the time due to which this problem occurs. get all the wheels balanced. also check the pressures in them. if the tire pressure is different, the car tends to vibrate and veer off. additionally there's no harm in getting the tires aligned too.
Wobbling problem need front tyre balancing If it still exist then the tyres are d shaped rotate them

Same issue in my alto 2004.
I recently had 12" alloy rims installed with 165/70 r 12 dunlop eco in the front.
critical point,,,,,,,vibration happens only at a certain point ,,,,, get your tyres balanced it will be fine
The person who installed rims in my car did the balancing of tyres. But still my car wobbles above 80 kmphThe car also sways sideways slightly.
Thanks all for your replies. I will go for wheel balancing and alignment in few days and will update you. Can it be due to anything other then wheels?
engine mounts & shock mounts when dead dry damaged also result in front vibration
i have same prob and tyres has been changed a week ago but prob is still there
How do they work now?
