Vibrations on idle

AoA Pakwheelrs... Just bought a toyota passo 2007 but when idling the engine vibrates too much and shakes the car. When idle and on 'D' drive, the engine vibrates too much and shakes the car literally. I got the engine mount replaced but the problem is worst. Can you guyz help plz.

W.S. I am not sure, but I think, problem might be with transmission.

Please get the vehicle scanned for any / all fault codes, especially related to transmission. Especially get the transmission physically checked; its oil, its level, condition, etc.

I am quite certain its due RPM dropping, typical in the 1KR Engine, just get it back to normal range and youll be fine.

It was a mistake to change the mounts, as you said the vibration is worst,

I think you need to get your throttle & Manifold serviced, & then RPM set via some scanner from a professional & that should pretty much fix it, do get your CAT CON checked while your at it.

Please don’t expect miracles after doing those servicing, 1KR tends to vibrate while idling.

Also whenever i press accelator i feel vibration in start of pressing then its fine..

At what rpm is the car when at idle?

As long as it runs fine when you accelerate you should be fine. Just make sure to scan the car for any codes and get your car serviced like @umarmuslim mentioned.

Shaking sounds like a misfire, engine not running on one cylinder. It could be spark plugs, or could also be ignition coils... or connecting wires/sockets.

Could be a dozen other issues too but they aren’t as common. This might help you on this matter https://carpassionate.com/why-does-my-car-shake-when-accelerating/ try it and be safe

PS: A misfire could be a cause of not enough power for the ignition system, in other words the result of a bad serpentine belt.

Passo 1KR, vibration is factory issue most of the people have this complaint.
