recently i purchased a new car and its dvd player not supporting MP4 format. i used to play same format in previous car and its worked fine. whats the solution how can i make it working ?

i checked its system information and its supporting only MPEG format, is there any thing i can do so it can support Mp4 ?
Check which format it supports. I have a pioneer system n it would also not play video files. Then i found the solution that i have to convert these files to .vob format in order to play them.

i converted a song in many diff format and only MPG work, yesterday i converted all files to mpg and none of them played.... below is dvd player version details.
