@Haceeb
i bet if this topic was about a lancer evo or a turbo civic beating a merc 320 you'd abe the first to say "mercs suck" right? (because they lost from a 1.6-2.0L car)
turbos increase the pressure inside the intake manifold, N/A cars have to suck in air. so technically a 3.6L turbo car can produce power like a car with twice (or more) of its displacement, hence the 911 turbo should be comepared to a 7.2L car.
the unfair advantage is actually the porsches, and i shoudl point out that a forced induction car always has more torque than an "all motor" car.
you guys all talk about horsepower, which means nothing. torque is what you should be looking at, and not just peak power, but where it is being produced.
Z06 - 475 ft lbs @ 4800 rpm
997T - 457.3 ft lbs @ 1950 rpm
Your sources need helmets as the 997T is only 20ft/lbs and 20 bhp down on the Z06. so i guess it must be down to how the "american trash" is built and puts the power down.
o course it woudl mean nothing to you that the crade for the Z06 engine was actually the idea of a pakistani (and a pakwheeler).
