Video format for Honda City 2015 entertainment system

Dear PakWheelers,
i have honda city 2015 model. have copied few video songs in mp4 format in a usb but the songs are not playing in the entertainment system.
can someone please guide with the solution like which format to be used or screen resolution.

Have you tried installing VLC player app in it? if your panel is android based and supports installing android apps in it?
