I fixed the issue.

It is a fault with the break switch. I tested it and this issues is only caused by the break switch and the carbon in it. Now posting it separately on pakwheels also

Thats why I asked to test the scan tool parameters,

You should have seen the brake pedal switch activate on the tool. btw there is no carbon anywhere - the poor contact is due to corrossion which is caused by moisture.

no dear. i used 2 different professional scan tools at 2 different workshops and no error shows up. also there is no rust just dust and geese which i cleaned and have not faced that issue again. as when i remove the switch fully and then drove the car, the response was the same as when i got the issue, the car wont shift over 2nd gear, a bit odd but that is how the TCM is programed.

Scan tools job is not just to look for error codes, you need to look at the data and see whats not correct.

I see a lot of posts on PW claiming that they used scan tool and found no "error codes" - being a code hunter is a bad idea, you need to dig into the data to see whats wrong. Not every problem will show an error code.

maybe you are right but the workshop owner dose not let us touch their tool for even a sec. so what can one do, buy a 90k scanner?

Get to a real proper educated and equipped workshop. Dont rely on “error code mechanics”
