BlackOp, You should probably also speak to Mr. Talat Mehmood who runs Kashmir Autos in Karachi (0300-8238376). They are a major importer of spare parts and specialise in suspension and shocks etc. I believe they have some dealership/agency for Rancho in Pakistan and also supply rally equipment across the country. Aamir Bhai also knows them well.

In your case, recommending a lift kit is not really straight-forward as you are running an extended CJ chasis on Toyota springs and diffs.... it will probably be some Toyota lift kit with extended shocks but compensating for the lighter body..... also if you are going for the full monty, you could just keep things simple and get the full Rancho CJ7 2.5-4 inch lift which would probably work best for you....personally I would just get polyurethane bushings with local fabricated shackles and hammer thems kamanis ....a bang bang for the buck!

Nevertheless, do speak to Mr. Mehmood, as he would take the time to understand the exact modifications done to your Jeep and if required also suggest ways of cutting down the total cost by using existing parts if possible...

Sorry for the late reply, I was out of town. Regarding the lift kit, as Kiani rightly said that you have a mix bag of suspention so giving one solution is not possible. Of course the vehicle can be lifted but you need to take the vehicle to the concerned shop, have your mechanic with you and find what ever part fits best. You should cetainly talk to the person in KHI and see what he suggests but in the end you need to be at the shop with your mechanic and try out the best possible solution.

I would like to thank Mr. Saidhi for his valuable input on just about everything concerning rallies on the previous 3 pages.

I am currently looking for a MegaFire chip and a suspension setup for a Vigo to prep it up for the forthcoming Jhal rally. If perhaps someone who's reading has a dealer in mind, or has someone who's selling one second-hand, do let me know either by PM or by replying here.

Ofcourse, I am referring to dealers outside of those already mentioned in the thread.

Karachi is the best place to be in if you intend to prepare a Vigo for rallies. Best drivers of Vigo/B Category come from/based in Karachi. Persons like Amir Magsi, Asad Khorro and Nauman Sarinjam are Karachi based. Do you know any of the above gentlemen?

In case you don't, get in contact with Sarfraz Dhanji, he is the President of Motor Sports Club of Pakistan(MCP), which is based in Karachi. MCP has presence on Facebook, you can get their addresses or numbers from facebook.

One very important person to get in contact with is Afzal Sb. He was the navigator of Amir Magsi and runs his own workshop. Afzal Sb can also get you all the desired stuff and will be helpful in doing all the modification at his workshop. Of course he will charge for the services.

If you don't know any of the above, than I suggest that you contact Osman Sb (Mitsu_man). He is a pakwheeler. Osman Sb knows Afzal Sb, Sarfraz Bhai and other mentioned ralliests. He will be able to provide you all the numbers and addresses.

I do in fact know Mr. Dhanji. All others I am not fully aware of, but I am looking. If you know of someone selling a Vigo specced rally kit in particular, it would surely speed things up a bit since I'm a little short on time.

If you know Sarfraz Bhai than dont waste time, contact him tomorrow morning, get the number of Afzal Sb, go to his workshop, show him your vehicle, he will get you everything that you need. Everything includes everything, so dont worry.

It will be quite hard to find a vigo's rally suspension that is yet to be abused in a rally, if you are serious in rallying, buy new stuff. Put aside 200K for all the required goodies.

Afzal Sb will fabricate the dual shock mounts in front, reinforce the tubes, radius arms ect, fabricate the roll cage and snorkel. He will be able to inform if someone is selling any second hand stuff and last but not the least, will get you a Megafire(chip). You might need to get a shortened back, but if you are new to the rally world, would suggest that you start slow, i.e. do the basics like suspension ect and them develop the vigo by the next rally/Cholistan

I always go for ARB suspension but I gave Warn a try last month when I installed a set of ultra wheels and toyo tires for my truck.
