I'm a huge fan of Italian cars with American engines. Rivolta, Grifo, Pantera,etc...

A reliable American engine with Italian coach _building are the best ingredients for a modern day classic.

I prefer the understated elegance of the Iso Fidia. Never been a huge fan of the Pantera for some reason, except for the very last GT5's.

Oh yes, those childhood dinky's leave a lasting impression. For me, it was a bright green Dome Zero model that got me addicted to supercar's.

The pictures of the engine do not actually do the finish justice. Courtesy the rather basic camera phone. I dont carry a Tapu Javeri type phone.

This is the first time I am doing the mechanicals first. Before it has always been the body. As I mentioned earlier the car is going to be run in a tatty rusted huilk like condition for a couple of months but with pristine mechanicals/ electrics before the body is done.

I am in mourning. Some young idiot took off a sidelight off the RX7. Spent two hours trying to source one and have grounded it until it is whole again.

It is always better to sort out mechanicals before finishing the car cosmetics. I always run-in the engines outside the car...meanwhile the car's body is brought to near finish, then the engine is installed and car is taken out for a spin. Any kinks are sorted and the cosmetics are done. I took the Jag Mk VII out for a 10 km run sitting on a plastic stool behind the wheel, no windscreen, no door handles etc. Will do the same with Healey on coming Wednesday. Good luck with your Zee.

This car was built by N2A motors (No Two Alike). Cost $40,000 over the cost of a new Corvette C6 (MSRP $44,000). The company is planning a production run of about 100 vehicles. It sits on a Corvette C6 chassis, front styled like a 57 Chevy, side like a 58, rear like a 59. Hence the designation "789".

romano is right...it looks very much like one of the many variants of Austin 7 from the 1920's perhaps. Very nice lines.....is it yours?? It would look beautiful when restored...
