Nice car Maashallah. Something to keep forever. my stable include cars that you see on top of this page, the 1947 Lincoln and the '52 Citroen Traction. The red Fiat 500 u see above is my daily transport. I have two cars which are under restoration process and are nearing completion, one is a 1965 Mustang Convertible 289 V8 with Rally Pac and power top and a 1954 Austin Healey 100. Bikes include a 1938 Triumph Tiger 100, a 1949 Speed Twin with sidecar and a 1941 BSA M20 with sidecar......

pic taken yesterday - Mustang and Jaguar going to paint shop. Mustang just requires the final top coat so should be back by Wednesday, Jag would take about two weeks as it needs quite a bit of preparation. While driving down to the paintshop, about 15 km frommy house, we got stuck in a massive traffic jam .... I think the cars passed their test for 'heating' and reliability, lol!

@PuNk im talking abt the TA-22 model its got 4 round lights in the front and yea its got an american sports car look!!

i saw one a couple of days ago but it was late night and no one was around the car so i left!! it was red in colour!!

and which celicaS do you know which are up for sale???

the paintjob is really nice ........ you know i might be getting the mustang painted aswell. adark blue with alot of metallic and clear coat. it looks gr8 with the vinyl top

At punk and Firebird:
the pop-out lights were on the 82-84 model celica.
the pop UPS were on the 84-85, but on the same body
shell and type, the latter ones have a bigger fan following and are with better specs, more wholsum wud b the ryt word i gess.
this series was the AA-60s type.
after 85 the celica became a front wheel drive car(lost its appeal in my opinion) basically so the toyota supra(now a different marque than the celica) could be promoted as the flagship toyota sports car(the year is 1987)
i have a 1985 AA63 celica in immaculate condition.
have loved the car since i layd eyes on it.
has the 4AGE spec engine,(around 130 horses from a 1.6 liter) independent rear suspension, power 4wheel disks,PW, PS, sunroof, digital meters, 7-way adjustable seats ,the works. and goes like the clappers:)
have yet to find anyone with same specs

Do not apologise for your quoting your car here.
It is a true classic with a pedigree to match quite a few of the so called classics being posted here!!

The ra, aa, ta,ga and ma series were capable and well balanced cars, hence the nearly cult status.

I would kill for a Ta series 3tgte, or if miracles do happen , then would love to see a Ta 65 rally Homologation in action.

Pamper her and be sure it is as classic as it gets here.

@punk no dude those are the later models your talking abt!!! like at some post you were saying you know someone selling a 74 celica!! thats the 1 with 4 round lights in the front and got a camaro type look!! its known as the TA-22 now got an idea?

nice ride brother i even love this model of the celica!!! its an awesome machine!! btw did the 4 wheel disc break come with the car or did you get it installed!! a couple of days ago i saw a supra in white abt the same model i think it was wow!! but it was left hand and dubai registered so i didnt make the effort to go upto the guy:(! anyway nice machine you got there! cheers!

i saw a rolce royce today on a service station

it was a 1978 silver shadow i guess

the car should be and was immaculate

the owner said that he was in kharache
he had that car since he was a student in the UK
he had recently imported it and it had a foreign number plate
