ijaz and asad anwer hav been mentioned so MANY times in our family...my mum her siblings(including my mamun of course) grew up with the lot...my nana was never at morgah..he was cheif drilling engineer and was posted at khaur..sum 35 odd kms from fateh jhang.
but yes...morgah was oft visited:)
there is a blak and wyt 57 bel air 4door in pindi..in concours...its owned by the owner of asad tires..mr asad durrani...mebe its the one ur khalu had?

Syed Anwar Ali Shah..cheif driller Attock oilfields pakistan; from the mid 60s to 1971(which is wheen he passed away)
ur khalu with the zephyr in wah..man wata SMALL world!
we'd been begging him for it as a parts car for my nana's 59 consul in the late 90's and he wudnt BUDGe!
now its with a durrani sb in abbotabad and hes AS stubborn!

^Some good memories in this thread. I posted a few of my dad's cars any picture i could find- i missed a few though.

I couldn't find any pictures of my dada's cars. I remember seeing a lot of his cars in pictures- he told me that he brought a 55 Bel Air to pakistan with him since everybody who went to America did one thing- buy a car

Later on he had a '59 Buick no idea which one it was though- i remember it was blue though! and he had a Caddilac from the army and i also remember seeing a chevy in one picture.

Pictures are all back home in ISB- wish i could upload some.

On the subject of My father brought a Belair with him from Canada in 58. Sold it in 60 to Ch Zahoor Elahi... yes of the buffalo lifting fame....
and bought a 4 kanal house with the proceeds.

About plastic surgery... liposuctions and other stuff... I would much rather recommend a 6 km walk in the morning and a diet without second helpings( difficult but possible). I know as I have done it. You dont need a scare like Yawar.

Digressing from cars and health ... I have actually done a fair amount of research and while LCD is the new status symbol... plasma is better... softer with the blacks and shadows more resolved.... and you can get a bigger screen for a lesser price.

Hi, I'm from Bombay, this is a wonderful forum you have here. I would like some information on a couple of cars of the Nawab of Bahawlpur, the 500 K Mercedes Benz from 1936/7 with a body by Barker 500 K Mercedes Benz from 1936/7 with a body by Barker and the 1931 V16 Cadillac? Does anyone have photos or links of them. Also I've heard that the Nawab had two V16 Cadillacs

Welcome here. The Nawabs 500K was sold and taken out of Pakistan in 1967. It had a very low mileage, around 4,000 miles when sold. About a year back it was on e bay for sale with a reserve of 2.5 Million dollars. Do not know if it sold or not.
The pictures of the 500 are on another thread on this site, will search and let you know.

There is info on the Caddy's in this thread, Mohsin will probably kinow which page. Not a great fan of the Caddy so really not much info on it/them.
