We have something very very grand planned out for Lahore end of this year. Will need your total support and participation as VCCCP members Lahore Chapter. We are talking about over 150 vintage & classics driving down the canal road in Lahore.

congrats on the resto's of the Jag aswell as the mustang. i thought the pony would be red but it seemed somewhat orangeish in the pics (in the sun).

and something really really GRAND has to be planned for Lahore as you said......... i would love to assist you'll in any way possible..........and count my Mustang in....... Plz keep me updated on the Canal Cruise.

A heartfelt congratulations to you and all the people concerned for a nice show. I suppose all the work pays off in the end when you see the amazed look on people's faces when they see such classics in Pakistan.

I suppose Mr. Nayyer decided to play along with you, as he without doubt, would have been able to dodge your Lincoln with ease and carry on to where he was going :d

Does anyone in Karachi have a Messerschmitt? It's be interesting to see the pair running together.

thanks. It was a great family day out. I let children sit in my cars while their parents took pictures. Mr. Nayyer tried to do that but I was quicker to block him....it was funny though. I love isettas. I know of one Messerschmitt in Karachi, unfortunately with someone who doesn't take it out at all and doesn't participate in car shows. I want to kick myself as I showed him the car and arranged the deal for Rs.60,000/- about 10 years ago.

Rather sad to hear about the Messerschmitt, but I can't say much more, as the owner can exercise his rights to show (or not) of his car to the public. It'll be a funny sight though, two cousins together. Or a King Midget? That'll be a nice sight too. A one wheel drive, Briggs and Stratton powered, distant cousin (in concept only) of the other two from across the pond:

hmmm, about the Alfa, I saw one for sale about a year ago near submarine chowk. It had a '1500' badge on it. Was red in color and had a Japanese engine. The rest of the car was in very good condition. The owner wanted 100,000 for it. I was really interested but didn't have the money at that time.
The styling was quite similar to neurosurgeon's GTV.
