there's one aston martin lagonda i saw 3 years back....its with the famous MAALIS of lahore......but in a very bad condition and in lilac color...and u know what i saw the dussenberg few months back in DHA LHR and
it had yellow registration..u know what i mean..

been down but def not out for quite sometime.

just wanted to know....where does the Ford Anglia stand in the vintage world?

My uncle (mamu) owned a beautiful 1960 in adorable condition but he had to sell it when he migrated to Canada.

I saw it a some years ago in saddar electronics market but it was in such bad state that I almost cried!
imagine the torture that the guy had put in a khyber front grille and steering wheel!

would love to buy again if someone knows any with original parts (even unrestored)

@Junooni, get your car back! The Anglia 105E was an interesting early 60s styling exercise and has aged well. Better known as the Harry Potter car, its styling cues, echo those of Fords across the pond. Check out the Mercurys of the period and you will see what I mean. We had a red one and I would love to buy it back, however its probably gone to the kabarias of Rwp by now....

@Devil, cars dont stand, they are parked cars have tyres, not feet.. and dont be nosy..as you can see from its neat appearance, the car is not out in the open. If and when the owner decided to let us view it, he/she will bring it out. Patience child

you are perhaps referring to the modern 1980's Lagonda - the sleak one. I was talking about a 1937-8 Lagonda Rapide V12 which was taken out of Lahore outside Pakistan.

i know of a ford angila will let you know if its for sale soon . its in quiet a restorable shape the only prob is its in lahore.

Brother i think ive seen one in Lahore Saddar and its not in a bad condition either!! its more or less the same colour as the one you posted and it has CNG or LPG fitted in it! I ll ask the where abouts if you want me too and try to get a pic or two to show ya!

The black MORRIS can be checked out in gulberg. Its standing on the road that links the Uphone office in MINI market to the Main Blvd. gulberg! Parralell to the Home Economics College' back side Ganda Nalla road!
