nice Mustang and with Lahore plate...I did hear of a mustang sold recently for 350,000/-. Maybe this is the same one - it apparently has a toyota engine.

updates on my challenger, denter is working on the floor, floor area including trunk will be completed in a week , after that the denter will start working on drive side, as you can see in the pic that both fenders are dismantled for denting

post pics of the fiat 600....I 'd like a non fiat owner to give you advice as I could be a bit biased. 125K though seems a bit too high for a 600, unless u love the car very much....but then what do u get for 125K these days...

Today I was roaming around Park Towers and sneaked a peek at the Caddy and Merc in the Sindh Archives Dept. The car covers have disintegrated and the Caddy is again in the open.

Please try to revive the case put through by the VCCCP. Let me know if I can accompany you anywhere or could be of any help, physical or spiritual!

Also when do you plan to visit Plaza side. Please let me know.

From a non fiat 600 owner:

125k is pretty steep for a project car. Have not seen pictures but I assume its a project car with the usual missing bits and loads of areas needing attention, both hidden and obvious.

I guess the 80k you have offered is about as far as you or anyone should go.

I may not be spot on if the car is totally complete, in very good shape with minimal rust, is a very special rare model or has some history attached to it.

It seems from the pics that the Lahore reg Mustang is having its bodywork done. The stripping is very fresh as there is hardly much surface rust in the bare areas. I can safely assume that the stripping is within a week old.

Which means that work is in progress and most probably the owner would refuse to sell it.

Just my assumption. I think it would not be worth it to come down to Karachi just to track the owner without being sure it is indeed for sale and that too for a reasonable amount.

Great to see pics of 'work in progress', something I enjoy immensely anytime.

Not trying to nitpick but were the original floors of the design the denter is fabricating?? The ribs beneath the seats are perpendicular to the cars axis while what he has fabricated are parallel. I may be wrong as I know absolutely nothing about Yankee metal.

It may be worthwhile doing an as correct as possible resto as you are in any case spending a big amount on the job anyway.

@Safeershah, shouldn't the new floor section be rotated so that the grooves go left to right instead of front to back? They serve to strengthen the body, but I don't see any good come of them in the position they are presently set.

it inst abt wats worth n wat isnt..im comin to khi ANYWAY..so myt as well..:)...a ragtop beetle wont b much2 me..but is gold 4 u...so well.stangs r gold 4me:)..n this piece is a 65..probably a straight car that can stil b saved n brought bak 2 original specs.... theres no harm in finding out. no offence...but please give opinions when asked
