ya one is still here in pak .. where i say its in karachi mohsin u didnt answer my question what will be the purchasing price of that car ??? its in average conduction with complete parts engine is not working ? what will be its price ?? by the ways every one like to make money

suzuki1... yes everyone likes to make money... but the there are ways of making it... the oldest profession is also one but not one everyone wants to sell oneself.

If its a classic car I would much rather mine went to someone who cared for it for a lesser sum rather than someone who would not care for it.

Same applies to dogs and horses.... As my dad often repeated the phrase... always look at the pedigree of the person you are giving your dog to.

So XK 120 price would be from a couple of lacs to 50 lacs take your pick. If it needs restoration 5-6 lacs max.

For all you great Chevy lovers, I hav a 55 belair in karachi which is in very good condition ,its a 4 door pillar with a six banger in it ...im looking for a 57 belair and the day i find that il be more than happy to sell this 55 belair to the Highest bidder ...I also hav a 64 hardtop impala ...

suzuki1....this is an informal forum where hopefully are all friends and want to be friends...

so any comments are to be taken in the same vein... my reply was to your comment about everyone wants to make money. My reply is that everyone wants to make money but some ways are better than others and some are just not acceptable.. Like it or Lump it and sending a car to make a few thousand pounds to the UK by a multi millionaire is just not acceptable...

This is a forum for car enthusiasts who want to protect and preserve the motor heritage and whatever heritage that we have ..

Suzuki, it was only meant in jest, and DID express my feelings too. Doc is against hoarders and people who 'acquire' just to be cool. I have heard of a 57 Chevy on CNG here. Isnt that EXACTLY the kind of person we are steering away from?
In fact, now that the topic has come up, we have a couple of members here who preface every input on any car with a 'is it for sale" question. Another case of...well, you know

the 57 chevy beliar is owned by Mr Asad Durrani of Asad Tires.his is a ayokohama dealership, and he isnt ur averagre "dukaandaar, tirewala"
its 6banger and origiinal to the coore, hes owned it for a about ten years if not more.keeps it garaged.

if what you state is correct (which I doubt very much)my offer is 10 lacs sight unseen. Lets see some pics of the car here.

On another note, I did not appreciate your tone of your messages vis-a-vis neurosurgeon who is one of our most respected member, highly educated and in the noblest of professions. His message made absolute sense. Let me add here that while we welcome input on classic cars from all but are not too enthusiastic about ppl for whom classic cars are just another product to make a quick buck or to use them for social climbing. If the previous owners of my Lincoln and Mustang did not think the way neurosurgeon did, I would'nt have them today.

i can read his above reply's and got it how much educated ur this member is :S any how mohsin bhai i ask about the price u can see in my previous post i don't know why he came in between and show off ..
as for ur offer mate if we buy that we will restore it and dont sale it we are making our own classic car garage currently owned 74 mustang ,wagonner 1972 and we are searching more old classic cars so now u can guess what our plans are.. as for my statement " every one like to make money" is didnt mean that we are doing business of classic cars i just coat that statement for fun and a true side of this Era of time so when our all projects are finish we will post pictures of our cars

@suzuki1 well brother u need to get a life ...just so that u can feel good about the 74 mustang ....it is one of the least desireable mustangs ....and i dont count a wagoneer as a classic ...the things is that the people you are trying to make a conflict with are some what least concerned about you but this is a friendly forum and we would like to keep it like that.....even though silent but alot of people like me learn alot from here ....so please either be part of it or leave

@samhassan i guess the yellow chevy was te one i said was for sale ...was mistaken about the regd no ...a fellow pwer zwarraich has some info relating the car as far as i remember
