Here's a 1953 Cadillac Series 62 Convt. I had restored for a friend way back in 1990....it was a body off resto...This car is now in Wahid's collection

yup know about that 56 buick convertable also know of another 56 4door sedan "thanks romano" although the 55 buick and 56 almost have the same body style just love the 55 probably there is another 55 sedan in lahore will check when im back . great work on the caddy ,mohsin bhai wasent the wrap around wind sheild added to the caddy in 53 or was it only for the eldorado that year? hehe zain is still trying to sell the chevy ,at that price its not going any where for some time now although one thing that is good about that 56 is that it appears to be original probably a first or second owner car . mohsin bhai could you tell me about this 56 chevy hard top you were talking about dont think i have that in my list

Sam, wait till you see the white 55 Belair in gulistan colony Rwp. You can see a small pic of it on our VWCOP website on the Dawn lifestyles 2003 link, parked in the Chevy lineup with the hot air balloons in the background.

the hardtop 56 was owned by 'Regal China Co.' who made fine china crockery. This company was bought over by the Hashwanis and the car was sold for 50,000 about 5 years ago. I heard it got sold earlier this year for 150,000/-.

$5000 is just about ok as far as demand goes. I hope he gets what he wants but 150K is the top money for that car if u ask me. What do you say sam

Had Samad's Caddy been 2 door, I would not have gifted him the car......its a 4 door Fleetwood 1954 (I think)

yup righty right im crazy about americana would go to any legnth but 5000$us is a bit to much considering it needs work . even if he asks 2 lac i would be in for it. hehe got a mail from zain a while back telling me that he had seen some websites and that is why is is telling that price hehe very crafty he also gave me some dollar rupee exchange rate info . good good another chevy added to the list do you have any news of where it is now any pics??

your the only one i know in pakistan who has a couple of cars from the 20s last night i was watching a clip on jaylenosgarage.com about a crane simplex with a compressor next to the engine to fill up a flat , does any of your 20s cars have that?

Talking of Americanas - what happened to this Lincoln Premiere...Javaid Ansari had given it to Nusrat for restoration....heard that the car was taken to Multan...anyone?

oh wow another 50s american is it a 58 or 59? wonder who designed the head lights for lincoln back then it was very un orthadaux still looks pretty odd today. as you know im into other vintage car stuff as well an asked you if you knew abiut thse vintage car coolers,well i was talking to my father about this air compressor that was in some cars way back in the early 1900s so when you had a flat you would just fill it up after repairing it well he didnt know much about that but told me when he was a kid and there was a flat and this is when there wernt any tyre shops for miles they had this pach thingi that had a abracive on top of the box you would rub it over the punctured part and then put a patch and clamp over it and light some thing with some type of heating powder on it and that woud stick to the tube . you ever heard of that??
