my kinda cars well when i saw the pic of the convertible was a bit confused some thing tells me its a 51 52 oldsmobile, and the second pic saw it and just knew it thats a 48 studebaker sedan,

@All saw an add of a 1964 merc. 80,000km. said to be well kept, grey colour, Rs.3,65,000, Khi reg. and is in KHI.
manual 4cyl, 1900cc petrol engine.

The convertible is the '51 Kaiser Frazer.
Worth saving from it's wretched state.

where the --- have u been. You are correct on this one though the owner claims its a 1957 but I know it isn't.

ah some thing kept ringing in my mind i thought it was a kaiser too but i didnt come to my mind as the 51 52 olds had the tail light in the same place. any way ooh kc or mohsin bhai could you post a few more pics of both the cars .

There is FIAT 1100 D parked on left side before Gizri Signal if you are coming from Punjab Chowrangi, If you know anyone owns it as I am interested to restore it or buy it for now and restore later.
I have some memories attached with Fiat 1100 as it was the First Car my dad bought and He bought when I was born.
Now they know you shouldn't buy a car when your baby is born otherwise it will make the kid car nut like me. :p(au)

  We really need a dedicated topic for the split bug. Please do put one up at your earliest convenience as you have to be the starter. Else I might do the honors. 

 Brace for a tsunami of posts related to the split. I am sure the followers of this thread would see it as interference in the usual discussions. 

 More importantly, the posts relating to the car would get 'burried under' this pages of this thread and be hard to dig up let alone follow. Just had the experience of digging up the 2CV pics I had posted on page 248!! :|

 I have acquired some more body parts for the 59 ragtop. Would be sharing pics soon.

need advice on a couple of things:

How can we restore an old fuel tank with surface rust on the inner surface. Any locally available products?? Need a good coating on the interior for rust proofing.

Second, any ideas how to package a combined engine and gearbox for sending out of the city?? Where can I get a strong wooden crate made from or buy ready made?? Any ideas??
