like the front of the 2010 mustang as for the rear they could have done a better job . new camero and Challenger couldent have been better job well done.

ooh great hope you get some more eye catching parts for her ,what else do they have ? any idea ? those rear lights would be great i hope they still have those very special lenses in them and the semaphores would be a good find too.

@safeer; dude u still havent understood the mustang have you...in one model line up it has variants that can be used 4 shopping and another to kik 440 ass around the neighborhood..it is more muscle than u would like it to be..no wonder there are 4 mustangs in the top-ten muscle cars of all time:)..(motor trend)
@all..the 6.2 liter camaro aint no match for the shelby 500 kr that will be launched late 2009...thats the beauty that ford carries out..sata sata k daita hai public ko....no wonder ford outsells camaros by 2.5 times EACH year that it existed:P

this trans am is a 1978 special edition 6.6 liter version(only 1000) were made.
it used 2 stand like this outside kashif"s house in PECHS bw 2003-2006...after that it was at the bath island place..it just stands there..si all original but is rusting away dying a slow death...an amzing piece of automotive history...(albiet the late 70s werent so great in the US auto history)..but still..

the other reason...i love the 2010 mustang is that it has styling cues taken from the 1970 MUstang...and THAT is by fare my FAVE model...

and i mean..COM-ON!..y dus Mustang have to be the innovative one EVERY 30 years!..i mean...it reminds me of 1967 all over again....2005 the mustang comes bak with retro..n ges wat..theres a retro challenger on the way..b4 u kno it..a retro camaros coming along..y cant GM n Mopar be ORIGINAL 4 once:P

lol, I dont need to defend mopars, already told you both cant be comparable, you can buy grocery and go to drag in a single mopar not like mustang :), mustang retro model reached after so much refinment and tweeks around 6-7 yrs of research, mopars will outlaw mustang as they outlawed in the 70 on nascar until the mighty Hemi engine was banned becoz no other car can win. i am waiting to see the AMC retro cars which will be better than mopars and mustangs

reality is that all american cars are going back to retro styles becoz ppl like the old style and they american companies cant compete with japanese in modern style so they are going back to caves

  Im sorry I saw your open invitation for last sunday only at night that day. Otherwise I would have tried to drop in. :-) 

 I do have plans to barge in this coming sunday. Would you be free?? Will call before coming. Danyal might come too. Would invite Mr Amin too if that is ok with you. I have to meet him anyway as I have to give him some bits on his wishlist.

Please do come up with a new thread. I have tons of things to contribute but fear them being irrecoverable in the landslide of posts this thread sees!

Please upload pics of the parts you have for this gem. I believe the roof rack would have wooden slats?

As others have pointed out, you do need to change back the rear view and side view mirrors back to the original. And the wheels too.

Would wait with bated breath for interior and engine bay pics.

You have one of the best photography skills around here. Keep it up!

 However, I am looking for something available locally. I do have some very good experience with POR15 products but then it was shipped to my brothers engineering university in Pakistan. I am quite sure such a shipment to my home address now would be messed about with, confiscated, stolen, damaged and what not.

The link you had posted seems to be loaded with ideas!! To tell you the truth, I had not taken a good look earlier. Shall do so now, thanks a million :-)

  Please find out the exact brand names of the products used by your bikes' painter. Might give me some pointers. 

  The tank itself is nice, no major cancer. Just want it to be be good for many years to come.

 Btw, it was nice to chat on MSN the other day.

Already asked shipping agents but they were least helpful and had no idea about packers, crates etc. Funny.

Good to see that you picked up the Morris spare wheel and parts from Harry uncle's garage. Stuff tends to get misplaced when kept like that. Please keep everything safe.

Good to know that you have plans of restoring the beauty. Please let us know when you get round starting the project.

The Trans Am is in my area as Psyborg said. We checked it out while Jasim (psyborg) was in Pak. 

It seems like the owner is out of country.....that might explain why it has not moved all these years. Dont think he is interested in selling it off too. The high asking price might deter many people though I think it might be worth it for the serious collector.

It is quite near to where I live. If what is said is true about it being under water when Bath Island sunk regularly each monsoon....we can expect the tin worm to at some serious work!

Here is a 74 beetle speedometer which I lightly restored for my cousins bug.

Its far from perfect as the glass is scratched and a bit cracked. Might change that plus a bit of attention here and there. Good for a daily driver.

Some rare parts I just got for my 59 ragtop project....a front end and a fuel tank!!

Both have come off a 60 beetle as testified by the ID plate still on the front end. I wish I could have saved the donor car!!

The area sanded under the plate was where the body number was in 50s bugs. This being a 60 does not have one. The spare wheel well does need quite a bit of work but I think I am very lucky to get this rare bit even in this condition.
