I dont want to start a debate on this..... I very well can go on and on and can point out Basit's good (in fact great) as well as bad points. No one is perfect.
I do not gauge anyone's work by the amount they charge, rather the end product has to be seen with a close eye for scrutiny. The pans are in front of all, Im confident that all or most would agree that this is the best quality work one can expect in Pakistan.
In fact to tell you the truth, the aftermarket pans I personally saw and touched with my own hands in UK were not even close to the ones I have.
I have seen the floors made by Basit...they still had room for improvement. I do not mean to say he is bad in any way. In fact his bodywork is so neat that it would need minimal filler material to cover patchwork in the metal. He does use seam welds at every joint, something you have to really chase a denter to do.
Regarding your querry about my brother having a package for me in the US, yes he does have a whole bundle. Weight is not known to me but I guess it would be a really heavy having a whole load of VW books plus bigger items like pre 64 pop out windows etc etc. He is busy with shifting house these days so I cannot ask him to send the items now. He does send in bits n pieces via travelling friends and family but you know its hard to convince people to carry odd 50 year old items which they fail to even name or recognise.
