Your friend seems to be endowed with rather huge you-know-whats to even think of a trip like that in a coupe, let alone in an old British classic (and I don't mean "classic" in an unkind manner). best of luck to him and Godspeed!

IMO, All fords can be turned into nimble racers, Anglias, Cortinas, Escorts, Capris, all make very good racers.

hehe even that dosent turn me on . im into 50s americana like to cruse take it easy lay back and enjoy the ride .would like a mk1 mk2 cortina though or even a zypher.

just found this pic of my grandfathers mercedes dont know if its much of a classic or not never been much of a merc fan .A1965 did you notice top left corner thats what used to be there 30 odd years ago.

I have seen the advertised Ford Prefect, which is in a reasonable original condition..... Asking price is Rs.500,000/-.............. seems to be unrealistic, as per my understanding....

yup saw the cortina a couple of months ago proabbly a couple of days before you had posted about it in the same place as the pic .. that place also has another oldie worth saving im quiet amazed by how many MK1 cortinas are running around saw one in islamabad a couple in pindi and 2 in lahore all on the road . also posted pics of my nanas mk1 cortina alot of pages ago but here you go .enjoy

this car is at shahnawaz Motors in Lahore......can anyone tell what car is it - looks like an austin to me......the workshop told this person who took the pic that its an Aston Martin x@#j

LOL, the sign behind the car says it all. Wouldnt you rather send your auto to a panel repair shop? a Dent shop sounds rather ominous..:s
