Sorry for being a spoilsport with the 7000th post......should have been some random poster who had not seen your last comment.

Have lots of catchin up to do here and at the VWCOP thread. Been tied down by my mom's health issues so things had taken a backseat here.

The VW trailer on the last page is great. Have seen lots (in pics!) of trailers but never one like this one. Interesting to show a two wheeler on.

Usually trailers are made by cutting a donor bug just where the B pillar starts, the roof is chopped off and a double door custom built where the rear seat starts. The engine compartment is retained and converted into an independent storage area by patchin up the hole where the engine is supposed to sit.

Whose Porsche is that? Nice I have to say, any problems getting the parts?. As for the bike I quite like it. Just the right amount of shiny bits on it. Not showy at all!

Hi all

I have jut acquired a 1953/4 Chevrolet 3100 1/2 Ton truck and a 1954 Cadillac Fleetwood.

Both are in bad health and need to be put into ICU immediately and after that perhaps rehabilitation will start and they will be put back on their feet.

I might be looking for a good home for the Cadillac as can't take two humongous projects at the same time. Had to buy it as a package with the truck. It could be my future project to lower it, chop it and put a monster V8......1st offer of Rs.75,000 gets it. Will post pics in a few days.
