Been busy and moping as well.
Busy is as one friend put it... in the fruitless pursuit of wealth....which as he says is beyond my grasp and I might as well forget it.
Blew up the RX7 engine... overboost as one diagnost put it...so am looking for a replacement engine in various places. the quotes are extraordinary...
In a fit of stupidity sold the Red Fiat.coupe...and am sad.... and almost as lonely as its twin in the garage. Have covered the rest up for the summer..with the battery conditioners / chargers attached.
The Datsun project ... the denting is nearly finished but needs some final touchesand Waleed has an important bit... the AC and vent control panel delivered to his home in Chicago. The weatherstrip kit is delayed as motorsport auto dont have it in stock. Am thinking of ZG fender flares. I hope the Datsun comes out OK. Will post pics up soon.
The Alfa project... rare items have been obtained. The front grill heart, the front light chrome surrounds and retainer clips/ lights, the front indicators... not correct for a series 1 for the indicators but for a series 2. The aux gauges for the console also. The rear lights are still not obtained. These are 330$ or 180 pounds each...HUmmmm no wonder my friend says that wealth is beyond my reach.
The Missus is on the warpath... even after the Fiat sale... and wants me to get rid of teh rest as well. So she isnt going ot be happy no matter what. Heres to looking for a couple of more classics... Any ideas guys.
