great to some unseen cars. That blue Cadyy Daddy is a good discovery. It looks like a 1951/2 Fleetwood. Is it in Karachi? There are two 1956 caddy's in Islamabad.
The Caprice convertible is nice. Keep the pictures coming.
I wonder how many of you have visited our website www.vcccp.com
That white Lincoln Continental looks like a real beauty. Never thought there were such cars in Pakistam. Whats the history behind that car?
@ Punk!
You have posted few photographs of one of the Giants from 50s (Cadillac). I am really interested in knowing what are the 3 handles are for (in pic. 4). Surely, one is door handle, one for window, what is the 3rd one for?
@alvisWhen I first saw this car I was told that this was ex-King of Afghanistan, Zahir Shah's car. I was lucky to be able to acquire this car in 1994/5 from it's owner who lived in Lahore. While I was restoring the car at my house, the first private owner of this car visited me. He is has been living in London for over 30 years and while visiting Karachi found out that I had bought this car. He narrated the story that in 1947 two brand new Continentals were off-loaded from a goods train in Peshawar and were put on top of a truck. He was told that the cars were bought by the Afghan goverment for the then King HH Zahir Shah who was very fond of Continentals and already had a couple of older models. This car soon found it's way back to Pakistan as after independence the first country to open it's Embassy in Pakistan was Afghanistan and this car was sent for the Ambassadors use. Ambassador was Zahir Shah's cousin Shah Wali Khan. I met Mr. Ardeshir Cowasjee last year and he remembered seeing this car in the late forties and early fifties and told me that it had Afghanistan's Embassy no. plate and the registration no. was 1 as this was the first car to be registered under the diplomatic arrangement. I wish somebody could get me some old pictures of this car.
@TM
The handle next to the door handle is the front quarter window handle.

@ alvis & sumbiote!
These Americans wants every luxury, they even don’t want to push the quarter window to open or close…they want to roll it
I must say that is interesting. Initially, I thought that was for sunroof. But when I found that the car is without one. Thought that I have to ask the Experts
Thanks you very much.
this is very "da vinci code"...
Dont mention it..
Here they come some pics of the Bentley, Alvis and Flaminia. Some more of a bunch of Merc's and a Buick Special 75 from 1937 to be loaded when ready in a few days.
