Power Vent Windows were introduced on the 60's Lincolns near the end of the 1962 model year (from June '62 onwards) when they were offered as an option. My '62 does not have them as it was manufactured in May of '62 and from January 1963 they became standard equipment on every car. The production of the '63 model began around October of '62.

I never realized the Bentley was so beautiful. Somehow it never looked good with the RR grille and yellow/red paint. I wish you still had it. I believe it's rotting away since Hashim Sahib died. Adnan Bhabha has bought Imad's e-type today. Somebody selling a Merc 450 SEL 6.9 in Karachi, asking a crazy price....1.5 million.

This is my Merc. 200 Petrol 1970 in Original Paint and Engine.
Single Owner.
Belonged to My Late Father and is still in great condition.

The Bentley was a very elegant car and had a lightness of feel that the subsequent S types could not capture.
Can you please pass on the Dienfa Motors phone num to Usman Buksh ( @buksh) and ask him to speak to Ejaz giving my reference. I have been prodding him to get the Bentley and restore it to its prime. It needs a good home desperately and is not used to this quality of life.

was Immad's a Coupe? what year was it?

The 6.9 is now a difficult beast to find in international markets and good examples are very hard to come by.

The Mercedes 200 was in my opinion a very graceful and elegant car.
I had the 230 with the 6 cylinder engine and twin Zenith INAT carbs and that one was a great car to drive. Same colour as your 200 with maroon upholstery.

Does your car have the Sony TC 10 series cassette deck? It was a great player when introduced in the early 70's.

Whitewalls in Karachi? If only. I got the tires for my '62 Lincoln and '61 T-Bird from Coker Tire in the US. Best service and prices. If you're lucky you might find some Kumho 205-75-14 (I got those for my blue T-Bird hardtop which you can see here) and a few 15" as well in radials but I got the original style bias ply which these cars originally came with. The ride is so much better.

Wahid doesn't sell his cars. Period! I think the e-type looks alot better in coupe form as it highlights the original 'slipper' shaped silhouette of the car which was its hallmark and uniqueness. The roadster just has that all missing.
