The car, however, would need a lot of surgery as that area was often flooded when the rain came down.

@all VCCCP members I've been seeing this 1976(around) Trans-Am/Firebrid in defence since quite some time. Its standing in 6th gizri lane and at most times there is a W126 560SEL next to it. The car needs to be restored if you ask me. Do you guys know the owner? does he plan on restoring it or selling it off? I've been meaning to right this here for quite some time but never found the time for it.,

How is the 560 at first look? Can you share the color and be a bit more specfic with the address of the area. Most grateful for your info of any kind on the 560.

Alfa seems to be interesting. It seems to be unmolested as well judging by the period steel wheels and lack of bodywork "modifications". Have to check out the rust in the sills though as the top looks OK. And the front valance is bent. Although, truth to be told, it seems someone has been trying to refurbish it already and has either lost interest, or has run out of funds. One of these with a modern 1.8 or 2.0 twin-spark 16 valve Alfa motors (which sound glorious) with around 150 BHP should be an interesting proposition.

yes, this Alfa is a juicyy project - I have asked someone to help me find out if the owner is selling and what parts he has which are not on the car.....I dont want it for myself, will gladly help anyone who wants it.

Mohsin... do I have a thing for Alfas... I am interested as I have two Alfa engines and the second one needs a home.I even have a period stepnose grill. Could you kindly let me know. I am also sad about the Fiat so need a replacent for it .as well

Sami-voodoo... I am sure you have checked out Alfaholics. I have date in the Sourthwest of England with them in late October. I would be interested in making this into a GTA replica. Nice spotting about the wheels... my feelings exactly. However I need an answer that I have not been able to find.at least on the Alfa forums... my GTV has door handles exactly like the ones that this car has. These dont seem on my car at least to have been changed... or the door modified here in Pakistan. Is it possible that Alfa were supplying cars in this area without the Milanese Cross on the handle... so as not to offend.

@mohsin... thanks a lot....I need the two GTVs in the garage side by side like the Fiats last year.

the fintail reminds me of mine... sigh.... I still have the complete new front lights, the rear lights, new windscreen chrome surrounds, trim bits for the boot door handles, .... rubber bits...door seals etc all new in Merc packing..and door mirrors.... beautiful chromed new . Also the in cabin ac componentry and trim ( used) So if anyone has a 220S w111 these are all available. will make a car look like new from the outside...so if someone wants them...

Great rally... you enjoyed yourself... I am sure... the two mustangs abreast make a great show.
