Bumped into this last week in my neighborhood:

I have still yet to get around to finishing this car which has been sitting like this for almost 2 years:

Awsome cars. Is that maroon car a Buick ? The finish is amazing and the car looks really nice.

The Bel Air too looks rather charming in that distressed condition. Is it a V8 or a straight six.

@wsfahmed: The burgundy car is my 1963 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight which I picked up almost 4 years ago for Rs.90,000. Its fully loaded with every conceivable option available at the time.

I'm assuming the Chevy is a 6 cylinder as almost all of them were. There is another '56 Chevy in red/white available for Rs.300,000.

@wasifali & saad02: The '56 Chevy is in my neighborhood in Mohd Ali Society and I don't know much about the car except that its been converted to a floor shift and most of the original interior components and fittings have been replaced. No idea about the engine as the hood would not open. If you want to go see it go to Mohd Ali Society and ask where Wimpy is and its in that street.

As I mentioned in my above post, the burgundy car is NOT a Buick, its a 1963 Oldsmobile and its my car.

Alfa and Mustang look super....

Saw the 56 Bel Air today.....it should be saved...56 Bel Air is one of the easiest of American cars to restore and maintain....mechanical parts are still available at Perfect Motors.....so whoever is looking for a good clean and simple classic, here is the car for you.

how's the mustang did you manage to get it fixed up? i read in one of the pages of this thread that there were merc 540Ks in Pakistan? what happened to them? any stories?
