I saw a yellow/mustard-ish 65 mustang today.
Haven't seen or heard of it previously never seen it at the VCCCP show either.
Whose is it? It wasn't restored but it was in pretty decent condition or so it seemed as I didn't get to see it up-close as it was parked in a house and I didn't exactly want to be a peeping tom. Just saw it while passing by

It's a Plymouth Fury. I was getting the car for 100K but someone else got to make the deal before me. My priorities got the better of me. The car has been done up nice and enjoys much pampering as can be told.

P.s: Wrote the reference as I dont know where this post is going to end up since this thread has crossed the 400 mark already.

the car must have been a 1965 hardtop and I am sure you saw it somewhere in phase II DHA near Defence club. Let me know if I have guessed right.

Yup it was a 1965 Hardtop but nopes wasn't in phase-II
How come it's never brought out to the car shows and all? Neither is it restored to mint?

well....the owner is a private person and may not like if I name him here....that is if we are talking about the same car. He bought this car a couple of years ago...the car was red and with a toyota eng. The new owner has painted it racing yellow..not finished yet...has put a modern 5.0 Mustang V8 and drives it once in a while while the car is being slowly restored.

What a wonderful man Lala was?
I remember him insisting upon us to buy a 1959 Impala convertible for 35K parked at his garage off Preedy Street. Our only reservation was that it had an inline 6 and was in running condition. Wonder where it is today?
