I dont much on this car...except that it's in Islamabad, with some workshop guy. The actual owner is not traceable....the workshop wala was once demanding 10 lacs....without papers...no engine in the car....Romano or someone in Pindi may give more details.

i was after this car 10 years ago,.. even back then the chances of revival were next to nill,... by now it's only worht its weight in scrap. almost none of the original sheet metal is left and it last thad a diesel engine in it and holes in the entire car which were big enough tto pass a small dog through!!!

sadly this barracuda is dead,.. peple just havn't realized it yet.

if it's available I would still love to get hold of it and bring it back to life. It's not dead, believe me it still has the potential to kick u know what....just needs a caring and passionate owner

I think by 'available' he means that if all the issues of ownership/price etc are resolved and the car is available for restoration.In the hands of a Passionate owner. 'Passionate' is the key word here.

But then again, its the same word that sums up the whole VCCCP.

@mohsin some pages ago you put up pictures of various cars in a workshop including a 66 (i think) mustang coupe in yellow. the car looked as if it had been parked there for a bit... would you know if the owner would be looking to part with it? seemed like he had started working on it but then work stopped.... would appreciate if you could let me know...

went to check out the 68 Camaro the other day.... posting an old pic. The car is now prepped for paint... has been that way for the past few months... the mechanic claims the resto has taken 15 years so far.... and he has had it for 5 odd... no signs of it being completed anytime soon... pity since the 1st gen Camaro is the best looking of the lot.

Sorry not bene able to visit the thread for a little while. Great goings on. The old Charsi denter told me about the Challenger look alike several years ago but I was so mad at him that I didnt follow his lead. He had juts lost me the Alfa Giulietta and both the Mini and Challenger were stuck with him...

Must go and see although I am in no condition to get.
The Datsun z is coming to paint finally. The usual problem with all these guys is focus... the painter told me ..day before yesterday... Oh... oh you know thse cars came for a little bit of touching and small jobs and i cant refuse... and here he was not committing me to a date again....

But OH well. the pic of the datsun with the exterior being prepped for paint.. bad camera phone... but it is coming along. A lot of parts for the ALfa GTV have been delivered to Waleeds door in Chicago and teh adjustable Konis will be on the way next week..and the front suspension is almost done with local parts. BUt the handling kit will be realy something
The 2600c was driven yesterday. needs the triple side draught solex carbs tuned a bit.

i saw this car abt 5 yrs ago at the same workshop i guess. i stumbled upon it while searching for another car. it was undergoin a resto back then as well. was missing many of its body panels at that time. one could hardly tell that it was a camaro...
Also parked nearby at that time was a 60's or 70's morris oxford in two-tone charcoal-gray n black if i remember correctly and it was in pretty good condition n up for sale...
