thanks for the reply. Which carb are you using? i guess a 250cfm carb will be perfect for the engine. I also plan to boost with a suitable size turbo but at a later stage.

Can any one give me some idea which engine will be the best to swap in my Mercedes W111-220S-6cyl Straight 6. I personally want to have some thing around 3 litre to 4 litre, from modern Mercedes', preferably 1980s to 1990s along transmission, suspension, brakes &/or electronics, if required. Please advice!

@All - Does anybody from you guys know any 1950s Fiat 500 around? For sale or kept? I've heard there is one in Islamabad/Rawalpindi but don't know exactly who is keeping it. Any help regarding in search of this car would be helpful.

Anyone interested in saving a french classic? then go to Nazimabad No.2 asking for Saleem Mechanic who owns a 1955's Renault Dauphine in white which is in a restore able condition.

It's slow but still a classic.. in our desi ways!

@ This was taken 10 days ago at the seaview in Karachi. This guy from Lyari has hand built this chopper. He carries a pic of a chopper from a magazine and says that he plans to turn this into something like the one in the pic. I stopped him to take pics and also give him a pat on the back for doing such a splendid job considering his humble background.

i was driving down sharae-faisal today morning and glanced at the car deals show room with the big old '38 Buick. Surprisingly, i'm pretty sure i saw an old Lancia coupe standing next to it, beige or a pale yellow in colour.
any info on such a car? will it be the next Buick, as in a ridiculous asking price and never to be sold?

It’s 65 & not 55’s.

As for the current stuff that the owner has along the vehicle are:

Interior is complete with all the cranks, door levers, panels, dash is complete as well.

As for the exterior, only assemblies for the rear break lights/turn signals but the covers are not available.

Reverse light (which goes between the number plate).
<o:p> </o:p>
Rear Door (both) Grills/Vents for passing the air in to the engine compartment.
<o:p> </o:p>
Head Lights are missing but can be done by checking the after market.
<o:p> </o:p>
Trimmers (on both the sides) are along the body line.

Missing Items:
<o:p> </o:p>
Missing rear view or side view mirrors.

Missing Emblems and Scripts.

Missing Front and Rear Bumpers but the mounts are intact.

Missing Front Turn Signals along with the assemblies.

He is asking 75000 which is too much for this frenchie. Crack ‘em up to some bargain.
