Spotted this 75-76 Trueno in islamabad... seen this a couple of hundred times while passing by but really noticed what it was now... and as usual the guy is asking an insanely large amount for a car that hasnt been started for the past 10 years...

But definetly has potential...

the trueno is complete and original. its owned by one of the car dealers there. theyre asking that insane amount cos they dont wana sell.they told me in clear n simple words.
its their lucky charm or something.

they just donot want2sell it. iv been trying 2 crack them for over 3 years now.

i know bro... but he is going to sell it... i talked to him too yesterday and he said that he will sell it for the amount that he wants since he knows its rare and some what of a classic... i remember a few yrs ago when i went to him for the riced up celica he told me that for the amount i offered him he wont give me that celica but i can take the trueno which i wasnt interested in... now he has almost doubled the price for this trueno then what he was willing to let it go in earlier... to be honest that car dealer isnt much into cars now any way... he's into peeri faqiri and is just being stubborn abt letting this car go...

I have this exact car (75 model) but have heavily modified in terms of both body and engine...

Its going on under some serious mods these days to become a full time drifter!

Edelbrock 1404 4bbl carb
MSD ignition with rev limiter (in process of acquiring)
3.9 rear diff LSD

Please let me know the asking price of the dealer as I am extremely interested in buying this car....This car has been in the family since new (imported in 79, bought in 80), since i was 2yrs old and would love to buy the one advertised.

it inst advertised btw..its been spotted.been standing for over 10 years now..n the owner isnt really ready 2 sell..they wuote an exorbitant price.

i visited this place around 4 years back and it was still same as shown in the pic. There are no metalled roads. Believe me its a very dangerous narrow track. But sadly this area is under attack by US army since many years and hundreds of people have been killed for NO reason

Humm.... if its the same Pindi dealer who had a white Celica st FWd ... then i operated on his son... the son is fine ... the father is cuckoo and needs brain surgery.
Generally if dealers are asking for an unreasonable price for a car in Pakiland or saying that they dont want to sell a car slowly becoming one with the soil/ surroundings it is because there is some problem with the papers or an ownership dispute etc
