i personally am not a fan of the GT-4, but when the word rally comes in a classic car forum
the only name that comes in my mind are the LANCIA's

I could not agree more...Lancias hold the card but sir considering the first japanese car to win the WRC and my young age images of Celica flying around the rally tracks kinda softens my heart to this
And yes it is for sale to the right buyer for the right Price.

You would think that Lancia has the greatest number of constructor's championships in WRC, but the the same case could be made for PSA - Peugeot-Citroën. Between the Peugeot 205T16 and 206 WRC and the Citroen Xsara WRC and C4, they've also got 10 championship wins. Considering both companies under one corporate banner may be controversial though.

As for the comparison between the Stratos to the Celica, in the hands of professional race drivers, the Stratos would be destroyed by a Celica GT4 car. It's not at all the same era. Would that make the Stratos any less cooler? No way! Anyone who hears its Dino 2.4 V6 singing will prefer it by far to a 4-pot turbo in the Celica.

i agree with u but considering that none of the japanese cars are competing not even the Audi Quattro i guess the wins by xsara and C4 peugeot is kind of un exciting to say the least as far as the Stratos that is one hell of a cool car and with production figures of 492 i would have to be Mr 100% to own one ....

Mustang is called the 'Pony' as it is not good enough to be compared to a horse 'Mustang' as horse is powerful and graceful, I dont know why people are mad after a Mustang...it is a very ordinary car and its not a muscle car its a PONY car so it cant be in big boys league nor it cant be compared with some other classic

mainly people loved it as it really changed the way cars were designed for that MUSCLE era

what i assume is that it basically provided the platform for rest designers, though its a PONY no doubt.......... but our jaw drops when we see a fastback...... i think ull agree here

Unlike a "Muscle" car, the Mustang, or any other pony car from that era could actually be made to go around corners... Of course, the ability of going around coners isn't really high on the list of classic car "aficionados" of today.

You can always look up the definition of muscle car and pony car on the web, wikipedia being one source. The terminologies are rather disputable, but give a realtively good idea. As far as the "pony" nomenclature is concerned, you do know what a "rat", "mouse", "elephant" and "Indian" are, right? The "pony" is similar, in that it's just a name.
