The Caddy Deville coupe is a 1977 7 litre. ( sticekr on it.. not entirely accurate...6.0 litre size does matter ) Lovely car owned by my friend Dr. Zafar Yusaf a Gynaecologist and an encylopaedia of planes/ automobiles, dogs and horses... won the Lahore Derby. It is ex Nur Jehan and is a regular driver ... the fuel costs only limiting usage.
The Alfa is in with Javaid for body restoration... because he has a nice covered garage. But a quick worker... the rotten floors have been replaced and the car almost completely stripped to bare metal. All parts needed especially the grills and lights have arrived from Germany via the UK.
The 1750 GTV is going to be on the road later this week or next week at the latest.. the problem was the brakes and clutch.. needed the brake and the clutch master cylinders but that has been sorted. Once I have driven it for a few days it is also going to Javaids... I am fed up withe denters acting like prima donnas and taking three years for a job that shopuld not take more than a couple of months max.
