Mohsin sb,
I expected that you would have known of the vehicle immediately,
So our friend is very inclined towards having it overhauled and that's what we've been advising him too, let's see what he ultimately decides,
He's just a bit confused on whether to tear it apart for carrying it back or import it, I'm sure you would have far more experience in these things and would already have imparted the requisite advice,
I'm just waiting for the day it gets completed Inshallah,
I'll never forget the day the "other classic" finally got completed after all those years and uncle took us for a ride,
There were around five of us in the back seat grinning like monkeys from ear to ear and uncle was telling us about all the things he had left to do and our friend was driving, the engine needed some minor works and was misfiring and spluttering so uncle took the wheel and we went all the way up to Sea View, went over the first speed breaker and uncle started telling us all about the suspension set up and why it felt like we were at sea...
On the way back some guy in a Civic stopped next to us at a signal and asked if the vehicle was up for sale,
I'm sure you can imagine the response he got, but amongst the profanity and mention of wives and mothers, in short it wasn't up for sale.
We got back home just as it was getting dark around Maghrib, we all jumped out and held the gate as it was a windy day, the rest of us were acting like navigators giving our 2 cents on backing the car into the garage and maneuvering around the Merc while uncle rolled his eyes at us,
then we were carfully instructed on how to put the cover on the car without it actually touching the body work to avoid dust scratches...
What a wonderful day that was to see everyone so happy...
