some progress on the Alfas. the 2600 is painted and fitting has started... chrome refurbished or new... interior new etc. more pics soon.

the 1750 gtv panel replacement almost complete... lots of metal needed to be replaced. finishing and rust removal and then priming and paint. all parts here apart form a steering wheel cowl and inner headlamp bowls which are probably at the GPO by now.

No other word could so accurately describe the feelings brought out by seeing the Alfas, my its been so long.Too long.

How's the work on the drivetrain for both cars coming along? I simply cannot wait to hear them go, watch them go, mmhmmm.

the rx8 got towed away and got a replacement... sure to be a classic if petrol lasts... but then coal is still available even though steamers and steam locomotives are not in general use.

Its a Honda S 2000.

The 2600 Alfa looks superb, white is a bit of a conservative choice for that car but it will stll look amazibng, I would have gone for deep red or even Giallo Fly Yellow !

yesterday we had a small meeting of sorts regarding the revival of the VCCCP Islamabad chapter. it had a nice turn out and we hope to have more meetings like this so that the chapter becomes firmly established. it is my humble request to all classic cars owners of rwp/isb to please join the 20th march Pakwheels gtg in F9 park (hot shots parking lot) at 3 pm onwards with their cars so that we can set this ball rolling.

Grigio is the only option for the 2600 since it is the original factory color. May I suggest a retrim in oxblood for the seats and other interior bits? The black just does not do it justice, IMHO.

We had a very nice get together at my place this Sunday.We discussed many things and specially how we should revive classic car scene in Isb.We have thought of having an annual car show and regular get togethers in future.we are also planning to have a proper car show this September and hoping more enthusiasts will join us in this effort.I would like to thank Wasif for helping me in organizing this meet and to all those who attended.
