its one in town and daily runner , i planned to post it here as the fellow pakwheels were disscusing about cortinas its a fablous ride of its time, i have tried my level best to keep its originality the first prioirity.she has taken me three good years to bring her back to life,as she was sitting for about 14 years in an open air environment.she is quite solid as mostly her own inbuilt parts were brought into use,the only thing that hurts me is her heart,she is living with a heart of japnese corolla 1982,which was not replaced my me,infact by the ex owner.for now on this info will be enough,i shall be revailing more of its history at other times.I BELIEVE SHE IS A MYSTERY HERSELF.lol

280Z has rust that needs to be taken care of ... edges around fuel filler, doors and fender edges etc. Qasim was expecting Rs.600,000/- when I last met him 3 weeks ago. I will post the number here tomorrow.

A friend is interested in selling his 1967 Hino Contessa 1300 Deluxe in pretty good condition, paint is mostly original, drives well, engine and parts etc are all original, un-molested car, I have made a thread for him, please have a look if interested.

there is 1954 Austin princes for sale in complete genuine and running condition it is believed to of queen Elizabeth first it was standing p.e.c.h.s block6 at bungalow now it is shifted somewhere in defence
the guy is demanding 10,000,000(1 crore) for it

This car was owned by Mr. Murad Bey (Late) who died a few years ago. A very colorful personality and a regular participant in VCCCP events.May God rest his soul in peace. He had two identical Austins, one in black and one in cream. They can be seen on our website under 'Motoring Events' Forum Car Show if 2004 or 5.

Queen Elizabeth has or had nothing to do with these cars. Mr. Bey used to carry a newspaper cutting of an Austin Princess with a caption saying "this car is one of the 25 delivered for Royal use'....this statement was for the car in that picture.....not for Mr. Bey's cars. He misunderstood the caption. While he was alive, he wanted 4 crores for each car according to his electrician. Internationally a pristine condition Princess is under $10,000/-.....

Cars are in very good condition and Mr. Bey's family needs to be told that they should find a good home for the cars at a reasonable amount.

3rd pic was taken in 1981 - my first outing in the Citroen. It is at the start of the Karachi Gymkhana Car Rally to Keenjhar Lake.

the one showing the Citroen in yellow is the day I bought it 'as is where is' with broken left axle.

another old pic.....taken at a showroom in Karachi in 1985. Late Admiral Zamir's cars had been displayed for sale...this is a 1955 MG TF with a modified grill and a Cortina engine. Now this car is undergoing frame off restoration in Karachi with many parts recebtly imported.

now thats a difficult question.....the last Austin Princess that got sold in Karachi few years ago was for 4 lacs....it supported a RR grille but the original went with the car.

I hope the owners realize that they are not sitting on a gold mine...
