Well that certainly is not a CSL, whch was a homologation special made in limited numbers.
This is a 3.0 CS or a 3.0 CSi. All I know is the car was owned by Muzaffar Hussain who was a federal Secretary in the early 80's. He probably imported it and it was for sale in 1982 for Rs 450,000. That was a massive amount of money back then but it was in a mint condition. It was in a beautiful house in Clifton with pedigreed German Shepards guarding it.
The last time I saw this car was around 1993 or so at Khan Motors, then if Mohsin is correct it was purchased by Lala Aziz and it just vanished.
It seems to be in good condition and is a very pretty car even now.
And is that Buick in the background Timmy 455's?, that Buick and this BMW are the only two cars I would drive off with if I was the director for Gone in 60 secs.!!
