Someone who is a great Lancia fan sent me these pictures. They have been taken from the net, but I thought that they were really nice so am sharing here.
The first two are of the accident of Prince Aly Khan in his Lancia Flaminia Touring in France in 1960.Prince Aly Khan was the father of Prince Karim Aga Khan and the Flaminia bore diplomatic number plates, as he was Pakistans permanent representative in the UN.
The others are of the worlds greatest supercar and classic car lover, The Shah of Iran. You can clearly see the Empress Farah Dibah is keenly eyeing the Flaminia Touring at the Lancia stand.
Then there is President De Gaulle also seen at the Lancia stand with the Appia convertible in the foreground and the Touring Flaminia to the rear. I assume this must be the Paris show.
