Mohsin, From what I know this car is not a 1961 3.8, it is a 1963 4.2.
I know it does not have the alumunium finished dashboard, and it does not have the bucket seats of the 3.8, and if I remember it does have the 4.2 badge on the boot.
As far as my informaation goes this car was given as a graduation present to Naeem Malik by his father in 1963. He had graduated in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University.
My cousin Taimoor had the 3.8 liter flat floor which he bought in Lahore in 1979. The person who sold the car had THREE E types, Taimoor bought the cheapest one, for which he paid 40,000 in 1979!
