VCCCP Car Show 2012 is on Sunday 1st April from 12 noon till 10 pm. There have been some delays this year which were unavoidable.

I saw this two weeks back on Sunday.Can anybody let me know what it is some Wolsely,Austin or any other thing infact owner was enjoying the ride of it ...

After a while I got 2 pictures maybe taken in Karachi as the registration KAM could indicate. This appears to be a Parsi couple.
The car in the background would be an Austin, I believe someone is using this model in his Avtar.
Howcome all 3 ladies/girls are wearing a dress of the same design, some uniform?

Hi, I was fascinated with your handling this so well, the vehicle and the authorities. Those round button lights may be available here as Fiat 1100 were produced here. I will look for them, and when I find I will PM so we can decide how to send.

And for Mohsin, I am posting a picture of me in my Lancia (also my handle), I am the passenger. Mohsin has personally seen this car. Here we are participating in the last VCCCI rally.

...and we drove off...

It was dark now and we had lost more than 90 minutes at the police station. We were dog tired by then and desperately wanted to get home. Romano is driving the Santro while I am looking over his shoulder from my drivers seat.

I noticed a Suzuki Alto (or an FX, I don't exactly remember) waiting to make a U turn. Just as we are within 100 or so feet he starts to move..and not just make a U turn but cut across lanes straight towards us. All I could do was watch and steer wherever Romano was steering as I did not have any brakes in the FIAT (not that they would have helped any) It was Romano's superb driving skills that saved us from a certain T-bone collision that night. Realizing that we could not stop in time to avoid colliding with the Suzuki he drove us off the road ....

The rest of the journey was quite un-eventful (thank God) and we dropped off the van at Ustaad Khalid's workshop and drove home...

No, my son is not in the ad. He is in Malaysia for studies. Micro earned a cool 40 grand for a two hours shot for the ad....

Thanks buddy for posting Lancia's pics. It is a fabulous car. Do let us know some technical specs of the car with performance figures. What's the history of this particular machine. I 'll post the pics of the Packards soon

The next day I went to take a look at the car and shoot more pictures. The first order of business was to get an ignition key. The switch looked unmolested but there was no key. The complete unit was taken to Moqeem Sb. in Saddar who keyed the lock the same evening.

I wanted to see what the original colour would look like once polished, so had a go at the dash and it turned out really nice.

Abid electrician was available so tasked him to clean out the brake lights as well as the headlights.

I took the lenses and headlight rings to a shop in Baoo mohalla and they came back shining like new.

The van was now ready to be started.....
