Well i m new here, I join this site because of this thread. very intresting info on classic cars, though for time being i just had a 1974 VW under construction.
n btw thanks Mohsin bhai to participate in restoring the Merry Weather fire engine at Peshawar.
I dont know if its true but heard that a British lady named "Maureen Lines" very much helped in it

Hi guys..I am restoring my grandpa's fiat 600 1953..Till now as you you wont find any spares here in Pakistan..Using stock piston,,i was thinking of getting new pistons but couldn't find and place here in pindi/islamabad..Went to a piston specialist,,he told me the Pistons will run just fine--rings need to be changed,,i have ordered rings but they will be standard japan's NPR..SLeeve has been finished..Will post pics as soon as i visit my mech

2. 1979 CJ 7 - full restoration 3 years ago, operation desert storm colour scheme, 100% original car with original 6 cylinder petrol engine, transmission changed from 3 gear to 4 year set up, addition of power steering and power brakes, comes with beautiful beige canvas top in great condition (taken off for the purpose of photographs) complete vehicle very rare probably one of the very few extremely original CJ7's in Pakistan (ex-army car), half self start, driven and maintained regularly and is in extremely reliable shape, taxes and documentation in order. pictures: 1979 CJ 7 - a set on Flickr

The 67 one-year-only bits are for the beetle as it was a transition model (66 had a different shape...68 had another) It does not apply to the buses.
