VW 1967 microbus - full restoration (1 year ago), ovenbaked paint job, vw yellow, anti-rust treatment all over the car, inside and out, will last you another 10 years without worry even in karachi weather, all new rubbers, major engine overhaul (1500 cc) with less than 400 kilometers since overhaul, mechanically perfect, all new wiring. interior not done, buyer can customize to hearts content, wiring at the back for any speaker systems, amps, etc. great quality restoration and probably the best microbus in the country right now. all taxes paid, all documentation in order. pictures: 1967 VW Microbus - a set on Flickr

Hello Everyone.
Well i m new here, I join this site because of this thread. very intresting info on classic cars, though for time being i just had a 1974 VW under construction.
n btw thanks Mohsin bhai to participate in restoring the Merry Weather fire engine at Peshawar.
I dont know if its true but heard that a British lady named "Maureen Lines" very much helped in it

Thank goodness for people like Maureen Lines! If it wasnt for her dedication, those fire engines would still be in a state. She went around all the relevant Govt offices, and bullied/cajoled the babus to lend their cooperation. She was able to get a grant from the KPK govt, and Mohsin Ikram did the rest.
Why cant the average citizen out there get up and do these things. Where was the whole of the Peshawar 'auto enthusiast' crowd? Trust a 75 year old British lady to show them how its done!

The original fire brigade building (built 1912) is also in dire need of repair. Who will step forward and do the needful?

there are 2 66 chargers, 2 68 coronets and there was 1 69 road runner.

no other B bodies from that generation

Hello vw_cj,Its nice to see my Splitty here!It used to be in Orange and White and Its registration no is Mardan B 1967,which i got it for it,matching its model no..Its a beautiful Car and was originally restored by me from an ambulance..Afterwards I sold to Mr Tariq khan in Lahore,he sold it To Moqeem in Pindi and then perhaps it migrated to Karachi!How much u are asking for it now?regards..u may write to me at drarifaziz@yahoo.com

Hi guys..I am restoring my grandpa's fiat 600 1953..Till now as you you wont find any spares here in Pakistan..Using stock piston,,i was thinking of getting new pistons but couldn't find and place here in pindi/islamabad..Went to a piston specialist,,he told me the Pistons will run just fine--rings need to be changed,,i have ordered rings but they will be standard japan's NPR..SLeeve has been finished..Will post pics as soon as i visit my mech

Fiat 600 production started in 1955, no earlier. You can get help on parts from Muqeem and Rizwan. Pmail me for contact numbers.

Alfasud body parked in G7 market. Next to New Eastern A/C shop. been there for years, and may be restorable if they haven't molested the front engine mounts.
