Indeed it is. You are the second correct guesser after @umar.shadab :D. Have you been to the F-10 Caltex pump to see it? I tried to coax the caretaker to bring it to the Pakwheels show on the 23rd but no cigar. Another interesting thing to note is that it has no registration plates:o

Most probably you are right about its registration. The car being dragged out of the container is also a Ford Model A (produced from 1927 to 1931). Weather it is the very same car or not is questionable. Probably might be.

If are nearby to I-8 and the old 170V is up to it, why not bring it to the PW get together today in I-8 at the Habibi restaurant parking to celebrate PW's 11th birthday. It will add hugely to the event. I am certain it will be oldest car present:)

BTW, I thought you were living in Westridge. Tried your Baba's cell a few times but I think he may have changed his number.

I've seen this car parked at F-10 Caltex, but didn't have a close look. The owner lives near Kohsar Market F-6. He has the corner house in the street just before turning towards Kohsar Market. I've seen the owner driving this car in Kohsar Market.

Oh ho What happened. Were the cars too modern? Were there no old cars from Peshawar owners? I would guess there would be quite a few American cars with history in Peshawar.

it should me arrange at public place . and i think very less cars came from Karachi . isb crowed was huge plus many peoples in peshawar didn't knew about vintage show

I think the organizers should look into this and have some public accessible place next time.Many car enthusiasts missed the show.

The vintage show in Lahore was in Royal Palm Country Club. Again, a members only entry and I did not know about it. A friend of mine who is a member sent me a pic of the show the next day on Whatsapp

I am assuming you live in Peshawar and if so you would be fully aware of the challenges faced due to the current security situation. A car show provides an excellent opportunity to the general public to attend a fun event in large numbers. Unfortunately, such a gathering also provides an excellent opportunity to the miscreants to operate easily and create panic. The show was all about projecting Pakistans soft image and not providing the terrorists a soft target. Can u imagine the kind of headlines it would have made, not just in Pakistan but around the world if, God forbid, a bomb went off or worse still a suicide bomber exploded in the midst of families attending the show? The truth is that if the show was held in a public place, many car enthusiasts, feeling unsafe, would have stayed away anyway. I totally understand your disappointment and agree with you but it is a tough situation and we should put up with it till the situation improves. Lets hope and pray that the 2015 show is held in a different security environment.

I import my own spares. It is not cheap. However, I am guessing that a spare parts importer might be cheaper since he may add your items to a bulk consignment which might result in cheaper freight cost and subsequently lower custom duty. This is because the custom duty is charged on the total landed cost (item cost + freight). However if you go through a spares importer, you may have to wait a long time for your stuff to arrive.

Another alternative is to find a friend in Dubai, have all your spares mailed to him/her and once all the stuff has been delivered, make a trip out and bring it as personal baggage.
