200Merc look as new
@hotadeelthis is far from a classic. Doesn't belong here.
this is my fathers car. he bought it in 1968 for Rs. 11,000.00 and used it for 36 years. had the engine rebuilt once. it still used to start in half self when he finally sold it for Rs. 42,000.00. I learnt driving on this amazing car. BTW it was a datsun bluebird 1300 cc.
perhaps romano may remember this car!
Light Blue colour? Anees?
u do remember u used to have a mazda 1500 then and we used to race in Islamabad good old days!
@incognito59good to see a Bluebird after such a long time. You don't get to see them anymore. This was perhaps the Toyota Corolla GL of it's time. Old black & white pictures add to the nostalgia.
@alllet's dig our old family car pics and post them here....I would like to have them on our website eventually (www.vcccp.com)
I 'LL NEED TO DECIDE ON THE COLOR ON MY HEALEY 100 SOMETIME THIS WEEK. LETS SEE WHAT YOU GUYS SUGGEST.....HERE ARE SOME OPTIONS, THOUGH MY CURRENT PREFERENCE IS BRG OVER OFF-WHITE
some more colors

i have been trying to find pictures, illustrations, anything visual of a Jaeger, by the Jaeger Motor Company, based in Belleville, Michigan. They were in operation 1931 - 1933. mohsinikram, romano, mjabbasi, symbiote, et al, a little assistance...
@mohsin
I find the following colors look the best on healey 100. 1st=Full black. 2nd=Blue top and white sides.3rd=Black top and white sides.

I'll try to get some more info on Jaeger. Belleville is about 15-20 mins away from my house and there are a couple local auto museums that would probably have some info. I'll let you know if I find something.
mohsinikram
I'm backing you on BRG over off-white. My second choice would be the one in the first pic (blue over white).
