@Lhr members, can anyone post pictures of the black Mercedes 170 parked at showroom owners house in Cantt? Its a beautiful car in great condition. Perhaps someone knows of it?
I have forgotten his name, house is near Battle Axe Shell station on road leading to old airport; opp where the Levis office is (used to be?)
His showroom is in Jail Road. Anyone?

I wonder if this is the same 170SV that I saw way back in 1985. The owner was a banker either with BCCI or American Express. The car was mint. I think his name was Ali Rizvi but not sure. If anyone knows who I am talking about I would appreciate if I could get some contact details of the guy. He had mentioned to me that this 170SV was brought new by his grandad and that he also has a 'bad condition' Riley Sports car lying in their factory just out of Lahore.....juicy prospects.

I am not too sure about the blue one except that it's a Thunderbird and not a Speed Twin. They look identical except the bird on the engine cover. It's probably an early 1961-2 model with a dual seat.

A friend of mine has a 1926 cadillac in Islamabad. his father bought it from e-bay. well they want to restore it but dont know from where or any mechanic who can do the job. so can you people help out in identifying a work shop or a mechanic who can take up such a project.thanks

there is one person here in pindi who is an excellent restorer of such cars

currently he is on a project of a 1895 austin
man that is old
he restores such items n sells them abroad
ill get his number soon when ill meet him next time

Pictures of the Austin would be great. recheck on the model year as Austin was founded in 1905 and the first car rolled out in 1906.

thanx. Look forward to see the pictures though I am sure its going to turn out to be a 1920's Austin 7. 1960's Pontiac Convertible in Multan sounds exciting - I have never heard of it. Any idea which Pontiac - 67-8 Firebird would be awesome.
