these cars and bikes belong to a very old friend of mine who lives in USA. He has kept the cars here for his later years in life when he comes back to Pakistan. Though he had done quite a bit to ensure that the cars remain preserved but on removing the covers it was a horror story.
He doesnt want to sell at the moment but I am trying to convince him to let go of a few bikes and the Cadillac. ( I want the Caddy. He'll let me know in a day or tw after talking to his brother who also lives in USA.
Just to introduce my friend Rafi who owns these beauties, he is lucky to have a business which is also his passion i.e. cars. He is a well known person for GM particularly Corvette restored engines. He maintans an inventory of over 500 engines and supplies them in the whole of USA. He owns a 54, 58, 63 and a 68 Corvette, two Jaguar E-Types, a Ferrari 250 GT 1963, a 1963 Mercedes 300 SE Convertible, 2-3 Indian Chief Bikes (4 cyllinder), a 1938 Triumph Tiger 100 etc. Quite a collection. Sadly he might take the Chevy and the two big bikes out of Pakistan as he feels that he may not come back for a few years. Chevy is being de-rusted at the moment and he plans to clean it up of rust and put a few layers of primer to keep it protected.
